The upper arms are joined to the body at an angle of approximately 35 to 40 degrees. The forelegs are short but strong and sturdy. The forelegs are connected rather wide apart. The tail is medium-sized. They have short, glossy and smooth coats that come in all colors and patterns except pattern merle. An adult American bully may weigh between 60-100 lbs and has a height of 13-20 inches. Their lifespan is around 8-12 years.
