What is Candid Cream

Candid Cream (Imidazoles) is a class of anti-fungal medications, primarily used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, fungal nappy rash, fungal sweat rash, and thrush. Normally, skin infections can be mycosis or fungal infections. Clotrimazole is the active component of the Candid cream, destroying the fungus that can cause infections. The cream damages the fungal cell membrane and causes the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus and curing the infection.

In some cases, Candid cream may cause itching, redness, dryness, burning, and stinging sensation. However, the majority of these side effects of the cream eventually fade away over time without the need for medical intervention.

What is Candid B Cream

Candid-B cream (Clotrimazole and Beclometasone) is a combination medication important in treating various types of skin infections, usually fungal skin infections. Here, clotrimazole works by killing and stopping the growth of fungi, thereby clearing the infection and relieving the symptoms. Beclometasone blocks the release of chemicals that cause symptoms such as itching, redness, and swelling.
