The main difference between Intel compute stick and Raspberry Pi 3 is that the Raspberry Pi 3 comes with a LAN ethernet port, which is not available in Intel compute stick, but the Intel compute stick comes with a Full version of Windows pre-installed while the raspberry pi 3 can only run Windows 10 IoT core.

It also comes with an SD card reader and with a security slot which you can use to lock the device. The device can be plugged into a TV and applications like PowerPoint can be supported on display. It can also connect to servers with the help of Wi-Fi.

Raspberry Pi 3 – Features

Raspberry Pi 3 is a credit card size PC. It comes with the same layout as the Raspberry Pi 2 and also comes with the same price tag. It is packed with more CPU power in comparison with its predecessor. Its graphics have also seen a clock boost when compared with its predecessor. The Pi3 also supports 1080p HD video.

The Raspberry Pi 3 is great news for IOT projects due to Wi-Fi connectivity built into it. It is also capable of full HD output with the help of the HDMI port. The Pi 3 uses more energy than Pi 2 due to its complex circuitry and additional upgrades.

Intel compute stick is smaller in comparison with the Raspberry Pi 3 but, it is is longer.

Intel Compute Stick is capable of running a full version of Windows 10 while raspberry pi 3 can only run Windows 10 IoT core.

Compute stick is expensive while Raspberry Pi is cheaper in comparison.

Memory

Intel Compute stick comes with more memory with 2GB DDR 3 while the Raspberry Pi 3 comes with only 1GB DDR2 RAM.

Internet

Both devices support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but Raspberry Pi3 comes with an Ethernet port while Intel Compute stick does not.

Ports

Raspberry Pi comes with 4 USB ports while Intel compute stick comes with 2 USB ports, one with USB 2.0 and the other with USB 3.0.

Intel compute Stick comes with the full version of Windows 10, which makes it more expensive.
