These activities have a variety of objects like raising awareness, inducing people to buy a particular product, increasing demand, differentiating products (from competitors), building brand loyalty, etc. In brief, it’s a form of communication between the seller and potential buyers. Moreover, through promotions, the seller attempts to persuade people to purchase their goods and services.
