Moreover, phentermine is a substituted amphetamine that has a methyl group on the amphetamine’s alpha carbon.

Phentermine is one of the most popular drugs for weight loss in the world. However, it should be used with a doctor’s approved exercise, behavioral changes, and a healthy diet with a low content of calories. It is a Schedule 4 drug. This is a label given to drugs that could be misused.

The exact mechanism of action of this drug is unknown. But it generally works by decreasing the appetite of the person, making him/her feel full for a longer period of time. It also increases the amount of energy used by the person’s body or by affecting certain parts of the brain. Constipation, sleeplessness, nervousness, and faster heart rate are the common side effects of the Phentermine drug.

What is Duromine

Duromine is a weight loss medicine containing Phentermine. People generally use it with a diet and exercise. It is an appetite suppressant. Duromine directly affects the area of the brain that controls the appetite. The release rate of Phentermine is longer than the release of Phentermine. It suppresses the appetite by decreasing hunger or making a person feel full for a longer time.

The drug is stored below 30°C, and its shelf time is 3 years. This drug is only available via a prescription by a doctor. One should generally take one capsule of Duromine per day. But doctors do not prescribe this medicine for people who have shown allergic reactions to Phentermine. Those with epilepsy, high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, heart problems such as angina, and overactive thyroid should always seek a doctor’s advice before taking Duromine. The same goes for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

One should always make sure to take this drug according to the doctor’s prescribed dosage. Increasing the dosage may not necessarily make one lose more weight or lose weight faster. In fact,  taking a higher dose has a higher possibility of side effects. Additionally, the common side effects of Duromine include sleeplessness, nervousness, dry mouth, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, and increased heart rate.
