What are Larvae

Due to their diet, caterpillars become agricultural pests as they damage agricultural crops, fruits, etc. However, the adult stages do not harm the agricultural crops. On the other hand, various caterpillars serve as animal food. Also, they are important in the biological control of pests in plants. Additionally, they produce silk.
